enginerunning.
Alwaysshutofftheengineandremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch
beforeworkingonthecuttingdecksorliftarms.
RefertotheCuttingDeckOperator’sManualforadjustmentproceduresofthe
cuttingdecksontheGroundsmaster4300-Dmachine.
BladeStoppingTime
Thebladesofthecuttingdecksshouldcometoacompletestopinlessthan5
secondsafteryoudisengagethePTOswitch.
Note:Whencheckingthebladestoppingtime,ensurethatthedecksare
loweredontoacleansectionofturforhardsurfacetopreventdustandunwanted
material.
Tocheckthebladestoppingtime,instructasecondpersontostayawayfromthe
machineatleast20feetandmonitorthebladeon1ofthecuttingdecks.When
themachineoperatordisengagethecuttingdeck,recordthetimethatittakesfor
thecuttingdeckbladetocometoacompletestop.Ifthistimeismorethan7
seconds,adjustthedeckcontrolmanifoldbrakingvalve(RV).
