4.Disconnectthehydraulichosesfromthettingsinthedeckmotor.Allowthe
linestodrainintoasuitablecontainer.RemoveanddiscardtheO-rings
fromthettings.
5.Installcleancapsorplugsonthehydraulichosesandttingstoprevent
systemcontamination.
6.Removethe2socket-headscrewsand2atwashersthatsecurethe
hydraulicmotortothecuttingdeck(Figure102),andremovethehydraulic
motorandO-ringfromthedeck.
7.Coverthetopofthespindletopreventunwantedmaterialfromenteringinto
thespindle.Aspindleplug(refertoSpindlePlug(page4–35))canbeused
tocoverthespindle.
8.Ifthehydraulicttingsaretoberemovedfromthemotor,markthetting
orientationforassemblypurposes.Removethettingsfromthemotorand
discardtheO-ringsfromthettings.
InstallingtheCuttingDeckMotor
1.Ifthehydraulicttingswereremovedfromthedeckmotor,lubricateand
installnewO-ringstothettings.Installthettingsintothemotorports;refer
toInstallingtheHydraulicFittings(SAEStraightThreadO-RingFittinginto
theComponentPort)(page4–11).Ensurethatthettingsareorientated
correctly.
2.Removethecoverfromthetopofthespindlethatwasplacedtoprevent
unwantedmaterialfromenteringintothespindle.
