Disconnectthewireharnessleadsfromthesolenoidcoilsonthemanifold.
8.Removethe2ange-headscrewsthatsecurethemanifoldtothemachine
frame.
9.Removetheliftcontrolmanifoldfromthemachine.
IMPORTANT
Aowcontroloriceisplacedbelowseveralhydraulicttingson
theliftcontrolmanifold(Figure109).Theliftcontrolmanifolduses2
differentoricesizes.Ifthettingsareremovedfromthemanifold
andanoriceisinthemanifoldport,ensurethatyouremovethe
oriceandlabelitspositionforassemblypurposes.
10.Ifnecessary,removethehydraulicttingsfromthemanifold(Figure109),
anddiscardtheO-rings.
11.Locate,retrieve,andlabeltheoricefromthemanifoldport(ifequipped).
InstallingtheLiftControlManifold
1.Ifthehydraulicttingswereremovedfromtheliftcontrolmanifold(Figure
109),dothefollowing:
A.LubricatenewO-ringswithcleanhydraulicuid,installthelubricated
O-ringsontothettings.
IMPORTANT
Wheninstallingtheoriceinthemanifold,ensurethattheorice
isatinthebaseofthettingcavity.Lettingtheoricestay
cockedinthecavitycandamagethemanifold.
B.Forthemanifoldportswithorice,installcorrectoriceintheportwith
theoriceslotfacingout.
C.Installthettingsintothemanifold.T orquethettingstothetorque
valuesidentiedinFigure109.
2.Positiontheliftcontrolmanifoldtoframe.Installthe2ange-headscrews
butdonotfullytighten.
3.Removethecapsandplugsfromthehydrauliclinesandttings.
4.LubricateandinstallnewO-ring(s)onthemanifoldttings.Correctlyconnect
thehydraulichosesandtubestothehydraulicmanifoldttingsandtighten
alltheconnections;refertoInstallingtheHydraulicHoseandTube(O-Ring
FaceSealFitting)(page4–9).
5.Tightenthe2ange-headscrewstosecuretheliftcontrolmanifoldtothe
frame.
6.Usethelabelsthatyouattachedduringremovaltoconnectthewireharness
leadstothesolenoidcoilsonthemanifold.
7.Checkthehydraulic-uidlevelinthehydraulictankandaddcorrectquantity
ofuidifnecessary;refertotheOperator’sManual.
8.Operatethemachinefunctionsslowlyuntilairisoutofsystem;referto
ChargingtheHydraulicSystem(page4–94).
