DonotplugorunplugtheengineECUfor30secondsafterthe
machinekeyswitchisturnedoff.TheengineECUmayremain
energizedeventhoughthekeyswitchisintheOFFposition.
IfyoumustdisconnecttheengineECUforanyreason,ensurethatthekeyswitch
isintheOFFpositionwiththekeyremovedbeforedisconnectingtheengineECU.
Also,topreventpossibleengineECUdamagewhenweldingonthemachine,
disconnectandremovetheengineECUfromthemachinebeforewelding.
Theengineelectricalcomponents(e.g.,ECU,fuelinjectors,EGR,andexhaust
DPF)areidentiedandmatchedintheengineECUprogram.Iftheengine
electricalcomponentsarereplaced,theYanmarelectronictoolmustbeusedto
updatetheECUprogramwhichwillensurecorrectengineoperation.
IftheengineECUidentiesthatanengineproblemexists,theenginespeed
maybereducedortheenginemayshutoff.TheYanmartroubleshootingmanual
andelectronicdiagnosistoolshouldbeusedtoprovideassistanceinidentifying
thecauseoftheproblemandtherepairsthatarenecessary.ContactyourToro
