Transmission Control Linkage Removal
1. Park the machine on a level surface, lower cutting
units, engage parking brake and stop the engine.
2. Disconnect wiring harness from traction neutral
switch (Fig. 29, 30).
3. Remove eybolt and extension spring.
4. Remove cotter pin and w
asher to disconnect traction
control rod from pump control.
5. Loosen cap screw and lock nut securing pump control
to swashplate control shaft. It is not necessary to disas-
semble transmission control assembly.
6. Remove four (4) capscrews securing t
raction plate to
transmission housing. Remove transmission control as-
sembly from transmission.
7. Reverse steps 2 - 6 to install transmission control
l
inkage.
8. Do traction control neutral adjustment (see Adjust-
ments section of this chapter).
