11. Install motor shaft bearing retaining pin into housing

12. Install pipe plug over motor shaft bearing retaining
pin and tighten to a torque of 6 to 9 ft-lb (Fig. 67).

13. Coat thrust plates with petroleum jelly and install into
housing and swashplate (Fig. 68). The thrust plates are
reversible.

14. Assemble each cylinder block kit by installing piston
assemblies into the slipper guide. Lubricate pistons and
cylinder block bores. Install assembled guide and pis-
tons into cylinder block by inserting pistons into cylinder
block bores (Fig. 69). The pistons and bores are not
selectively fitted, so no specific piston and bore orienta-
tion is required.
