SAE Straight Thread O-Ring Port (Non-adjustable)
1. Make sure both threads and sealing surfaces are free
of burrs, n cks, scratches, or any foreign material.
2. A ways rep ace the O-ring seal when th s type of fitting
shows signs of leakage.
3. Lubr cate the O-r ng with a ght coat ng of o
4. Insta ng into the port and tighten it down fu
ength until finger t ght (Fig. 4).
5. Tghten the f tting to the correct flats from finger t ght
(F.F.F.T.).

4. Turn back the am nut as far as possible. Make sure
the back up washer s not loose and is pushed up as far
as possible (Step 1).
5. Insta the f tting into the port and t ghten f nger tight
unt the washer contacts the face of the port (Step 2).
6. To put the fittng n the desired position, unscrew t by
the required amount, but no more than one full turn
(Step 3).
7. Hold the f tting in the desired posit
and turn the jam nut with another wrench to the correct
ats from f nger tight (F.F.F.T.) (Step 4)
