qos cos
The qos cos Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel) mode command defines the default CoS value of a
port. To return to the default configuration, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
qos cos default-cos
no qos cos
Parameters
default-cos — Specifies the default CoS value of the port. (Range: 0 - 7)
Default Configuration
Default CoS value of a port is 0.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel) mode
User Guidelines
If the port is trusted, the default CoS value of the port is used to assign a CoS value to all untagged packets enter-
ing the port.
Example
The following example configures port 4 default CoS value to 3.
Console(config)#
interface ethernet
e4
Console(config-if) qos cos 3
