Troubleshooting CPC Problems

1 Optics temperature is out of
normal operating range.
Change optics thermistor.*
2 Condenser temperature is out of

3 Saturator temperature is out of

Change saturator thermistor.*
4 Calibration data is
nonmonotonic because the
calibration data is missing or
incorrect.
Reload the calibration.*
5 A/D measuring the 10-volt
reference is out of range (8000–
15,000 equivalent counts per 10
volts).
Recalibrate the A/D in the
configuration (Chapter 4).
Check that the D/A is
producing 10 volts.
6 Total maximum number is
invalid.
Rerun the configuration
(Chapter 4
7 Analog output voltage is invalid. Rerun the configuration
(Chapter 4)
8 Baud rate is invalid. Rerun the configuration
(Chapter 4
9 Divide by 0 error (internal
processing error)
Remove, then re-apply power.
