This section describes the basic functions of the Model 3022A
Condensation Particle Counter (CPC) controls, indicators, and
connectors on the front and back panels as well as giving operating
specifications and precautions.
Note: Specific applications for the CPC are covered in Chapter 10.
Front Panel Functions
The front panel, shown in Figure 3-1, provides information on
particle concentration, particle counts, and the status of various
operations. It provides access to three types of functions through
pushbuttons: primary functions, secondary functions, and
configuration functions. (The configuration functions are a special
case, described in Chapter 4).
