Connections for data cables to BL20-GW-CANOPEN
Fieldbus connection via SUB-D socket
SUB-D connectors are provided for communication with the BL20-
GW-CANOPEN gateway through the CANopen fieldbus.
The passive bus termination must be applied externally if the BL20
gateway is the last station in the bus structure. This external appli-
cation can be implemented either through separate termination
resistors or through a special SUB-D plug which has an integrated
bus termination.
The pin assignments for the plug and socket are identical – the
socket is shown as an example:
