Talking to your colleague with a speaker call
You can place a speaker call to an internal party using the loudspeaker on their
telephone. You can also use the functions under "OpenScape 4000 as an "en-
trance telephone system"
 Page 90.
Prerequisite: A "COM Spk 2way" programmed function key is configured on
your phone.
Press the programmed function key "COM Spk 2way".
j Enter the phone number.
Z Wait for the tone and answer with the speaker.
or
^ Lift the handset and speak to the party who answers.
If you cannot reach a destination...
Call waiting (camp-on)
Prerequisite: An internal station is busy. You would still like to reach your col-
league.
Select the menu item, confirm and wait briefly.
Z Your colleague hears a warning tone during the call. If their phone has a display,
your name and phone number are displayed.
Busy override - joining a call in progress
Prerequisite: An internal station is busy. It is important that you reach this col-
league.
Select the menu item, confirm and wait briefly.
Z Both your colleague and their call partner hear a warning tone.
You can now start talking.

If the party to whom you are speaking has activated "Speaker call protect"
 Page 102, your speaker call will be received as a normal call.
Camp-on? f
To camp on, you must have the appropriate class of service. Camp-on is
not possible if the called party is protected by the camp-on security func-
tion.
Override? f
To override, you must have the appropriate class of service. Override is not
possible if the called party has station override security activated.
