7. The next option displayed will be Enter the Day”. Enter the two-digit day and then
press the (*) key to enter.
8. Next, the “Enter the Yearoption will be displayed. Enter the two-digit year and
then press the (*) key to enter.
9. You will now need to program the time. Time will be programmed in 24-hour
format (Military time). For example: 9:00 a.m. would be entered as 09:00, and
1:00 p.m. would be entered as 13:00.
10. The Wash Select II will now display the “Enter the Houroption. Enter the two-
digit hour and then press the (*) key to enter.
11. Next, you will be prompted to “Enter the Minute. Enter the two-digit minute and
then press the (*) key to enter.
12. The final step for setting date and time will be to “Enter Day of the Week”, this is
entered using the number 1-7 beginning with Sunday as day (1) and ending with
Saturday as day (7).
13. Enter the day of the week and then press the (*) key to enter.
2.12.3 Assigning a Service Phone Number
A service phone number is printed on a customer overpayment ticket (issued when change
has failed to dispense). This allows the customer to call the site operator for a credit. This
phone number may be entered in 7, 10, or 11-digit numeric format. Follow the steps below to
program a service phone number.
1. Using the toggle switch at the top of the CPU board, place the Wash Select II in
setup mode by moving the switch toward the back of the Wash Select II case.
(The CPU board is located on the inside right wall of the Wash Select II case.)
2. Using the (3) key on the Wash Select II keypad to scroll forward, (the (1) key
scrolls backward) scroll through theMain Menu” untilMisc. Setupis displayed.
3. Press the (*) key to enter.
4. Scroll through this sub-menu until the “Service Phone #” option is displayed, and
then press the (*) key to enter.
5. Enter the number you wish to have printed, and then press the (*) key to enter.
2.12.4 Assigning a Site ID Number
The Site I.D. is used by the Wash Select II to identify the unit on configuration, accounting
and remote reports. It is also used by the pager system to identify the site. To set a site I.D.
follow the steps below.
Note:
If your distributor is monitoring your site, you may wish to have them assign your site
I.D.
1. Using the toggle switch at the top of the CPU board, place the Wash Select II in
