3.1 Installation
3.1.1 Unpacking
The standard tester is supplied with the following components. If any component
is missing please contact your supplier:
• User manual
• Power Supply Unit
• Calibration Certificate
3.1.2 Location
• Locate the tester as near as possible to the test component in order to keep the
internal volume to a minimum.
• The tester’s operating temperature range is 5°C to 40°C (41°F to 104°F), with a
humidity range of 0 to 90% non-condensing. To avoid temperature variations,
install the tester away from heaters and draughts. Failure to do so may affect
repeatability of the readings.
• Insulating the connecting test pipe work is recommended.
• Place the tester on a horizontal support that is free from vibration, and where
there is free access to the front panel controls and rear panel connectors.
