5.2.2. UPS & Power distribution servicing
The general maintenance for the UPS & Power Distribution system includes Fan Maintenance and Checking
the UPS status.
Fan Maintenance
The UPS fans are intended to run for 20000-40000 hours continuously. The higher the environmental
temperature is, the shorter the fan life tends to be. Verify the fan status periodically on a half-yearly basis
bycheckingiftheairowfromtheventilationholesontherearpaneloftheUPSisappropriateandis
functioning normally.
