General description
VF1807090083 EN revision 26
As standard, six detectors are used for the measurement, four of which are intended for the measurement of
hand contamination (always one for the palm and one for the back of the hand) and two for the measurement
of shoe sole contamination. The HF-4 series monitors have four detectors, structurally similar to the series
with horizontal layout of the hand detectors, but not having detectors for sensing the back of the hand.
The frisker, delivered as optional accessory (for all HF type monitors), can be connected by means of a flexible
cable and is attached on the supporting pillar of the instrument.
The individual monitor types (Tab. 3) are differentiated according to the model, radiation to be detected and
whether they evaluate the measurement in one or in two channels (with alpha radiation discrimination).
