Annex F.
Detector status, detector supply, HV sources
Automatic sending of the number of pulses. The bit activates the automatic sending of the number of
pulses to the address DetSendAdr. Results will always be sent at the end of each sampling period.
Automatic sending of count rate. The bit activates the automatic sending of the measured count rate to the
address DetSendAdr. Results will always be sent after calculating a new value at the end of each sampling
period, see figure.
HV source is switched off. The bit is set if the HV source is out of order.
Overload of channel A. The bit indicates overload of the detector in channel A in the current sampling
period. It is set if Count_A > MaxRate_A·SP or if PDT_A > MaxPDT_A. The overload is signalized by
displaying the sign "MAX" on the instrument display.
Overload of channel B. The bit indicates overload of the detector in channel A in the current sampling
period. It is set if Count_B> MaxRate_B·SP or if PDT_B> MaxPDT_B. The overload is signalized by
displaying the sign "MAX" on the instrument display.
Too high count rate in channel A. The bit indicates exceeding the maximum count rate on an average in
channel A. It is set if Rate_A > MaxRate_A. The overload is signalized by displaying the sign "MAX" on the
instrument display.
Too high count rate in channel B. The bit indicates exceeding the maximum count rate on an average in
channel A. It is set if Rate_B > MaxRate_B. The overload is signalized by displaying the sign "MAX" on the
instrument display.

HV source is disabled. This bit is set when any overload is detected, i.e. if the output current is higher than
the permitted current (parameters HV_Imax and HV_Ichange). Setting this bit will disable the HV source.
Enabling the HV source and resetting this bit are only made after switching the instrument on and when
recording the parameter HV_Ureq into the instrument.
HV source voltage is being changed. When changing the required voltage (for example after switching from
0V to HV_Ureq), the HV source does not change its output voltage at once, but gradually at 200 V/s. This
bit indicates that the HV source is undergoing this changeover.
HV source voltage is lower than required. The bit is set if
