Instrument settings
VF1807090083 EN revision 59
Minimum contamination
measurement time
Minimum permitted measurement time, when the instrument, with the
specified measurement conditions, can decide and display the result
Maximum contamination
measurement time
Maximum permitted measurement time, when the instrument with the
specified measurement conditions, must decide and display the result
Background
measurement time
It indicates the length of buffer for background measurement and the
associated change buffer.
It is a common parameter for all measuring channels.
Short-time background
change length
It indicates the maximum length of the background change so as not to
consider it as the permanent change.
In case of not exceeding this period of time, the changed background level
is not counted and only the background level before the change is used.
Turn-off voice
signalization
It disables the voice instructions.
It can be used, for example, when the voice module fails and you need to
operate the instrument without this module.
The volume can be controlled directly on the panel of the voice module.
(the signalization remains on during measurement by frisker)
Turn-off LED
signalization
It disables the LED signalization located on the upper box with electronics.
The visual alarm on the PLC display remains in operation.
The measurement takes place in one step.
It cannot be changed, it is for information only.
Detectors contamination
check after person
presence detection
The parameter activates additionally the instrument contamination testing
after incomplete measurement, when the possibility cannot be excluded
that no contamination was caused due to contact with the instrument. (In
the case that contamination is measured during routine measurement of
persons, the instrument contamination test will follow in any case,
independently of the setting of this parameter.)
Automatic return to the
main menu screen
The parameter deactivates or sets the automatic logout time for the service
menu.
If the value equals 0, there is no logout.
Entering the value for the parameter (password) initiates password
protected access to the service menu from the PLC display.
Only numeric characters can be used for the password.
Password to display the
table with results
Entering the value for the parameter (password) initiates password
protected access to the table of results from the PLC display.
Only numeric characters can be used for the password.
High background causes
failure state
By activating this parameter, the instrument warns the operator of
exceeding the background level by going into the out-of-service condition
and by making an entry in the error log. This state requires the operator
intervention and SW reset of the instrument.
Such instrument does not display the “High background” state, but
immediately goes to failure.
