8.6. Checking the switches for foot detector grates
1. Use the wrench (M13) to loosen the nut in the middle of the pillar of the instrument and lift up the grids
above the detectors.
2. If used, remove the rolls or frames with the protective foil.
3. Clean the interior around the detectors.
Use the vacuum cleaner very carefully to prevent the rupture of the aluminium light-tight foil
of the detector!
4. Use the silicone oil to lubricate the moving part of the activation switch for foot detectors.
5. Check the tightening and functioning of the switch for foot detectors.
6. If used, put the rolls with protective foil back on place and move them by one length of the detector or
put back on place the frames with protective foil.
7. Close the foot detector grids and secure with a screw and a nut.
