Fire protection
No clearance is required between the concentric balanced ue and combustible materials or components,
as temperatures above 85°C will not occur at the rated heating output.
Connectiontotheair/uegasroutingsystem
It must be possible to inspect the entire cross-section of the ues.
Therefore, install at least one appropriate cleaning and/or inspection port inside the boiler room; agree
on suitable arrangements with the local ue gas inspector.
Between the ue outlet and the roof surface, there must be a clearance of at least 0.4 m.
Flue gas temperature limiter
The electronic ue gas temperature limiter switches the heat generator off when the ue gas temperature
exceeds 120°C. The heat generator restarts when the reset button is pressed.
Applianceconnectionwithuegastestport
The following applies to the connection with ue gas test port:
Required for the proper operation of the heat generator
Easily accessible by the chimney sweep
Fitted to the heat generator at the factory
Alternatively, install immediately after the 87° bend connected directly to the heat generator
i
If replacing a WOLF COB with a WOLF COB-2, reuse the existing connection with a ue gas test
port.
