4.6.6 Notes on connection

Original WOLF components have been optimised over many years and are designed for use with
WOLF heat generators.

Type B23
Moisture-resistant ue

3 m – Flue gas chimney must have CE approval.
Type B33
Moisture-resistant ue
systems (open ue)

in a ue gas

– Flue gas chimney must have CE approval.
– Obtain the connection piece from the chimney
manufacturer.
– The air apertures to the boiler room must be
completely free from obstruction.
Type C43x
Moisture-resistant balanced
ue chimney (room sealed)

– Flue gas chimney must have CE approval.
Type C53, C83x
Moisture-resistant ue (room

3 m – Recommended: maximum length of horizontal

– Special requirements for ues that are not
surrounded by combustion air in accordance
with locally applicable combustion regulations
Type C63x
Combustion air supply and
ue gas systems (room

3 m – If using third party equipment that is only
CE/DIBT approved, the contractor will be
responsible for the correct sizing and perfect
function of the system.
– No liability for faults, material losses and injuries
resulting from incorrect pipe lengths, excessive
pressure drop, premature wear with escaping
ue gas and condensate or incorrect functions,
e.g. through components working loose.
– Recommended: maximum length of horizontal
supply air pipe 3 m
– If the combustion air is drawn from the shaft,
the shaft must be free from contamination.
Moisture-resistant ue with
