Draining the heating system
WARNING
Hot water!
Risk of scalding hands from hot water.
► Before working on parts which are in contact with water, allow the appliance to cool to below
40°C.
► Use safety gloves.
WARNING
High temperatures!
Risk of burns on the hands from hot components.
► Before working on the open heat generator, allow it to cool below 40°C.
► Use safety gloves.
► Open the drain valve (e.g. heat generator BDF valve).
► Open the air vent valves on the radiators.
► Drain off the heating water.
Shutting off the oil supply
► Close the oil shut-off valve.
