9.3.2 Specifications of fresh water pump
9.3.3 Fresh water pump disassembly
(1) Do not disassemble the fresh water
pump. It is difficult to disassemble and,
once disassembled, even more difficult
to reassemble. Replace the pump as an
assembly in the event of trouble.
(2) When removing the fresh water pump as
an assembly from the cylinder block and
cylinder head, replace the O-ring at the
cylinder block inlet.
(3) When installing the pump assembly to
the cylinder block, tighten the 2 bolts
(M6 x 20) at the cylinder block inlet to
the specified torque.
Note:
When disassembling the fresh water pump and
reassembling the pump cover, tighten the M6
bolts to the specified torque.
