To Store the Print Engine
If you are not placing the print engine into immediate operation, repackage it using the original
packing materials. You may store the print engine under the following conditions:
• Temperature: –40°F to 140°F (–40° to 60°C)
• Relative humidity: 5% to 85% non-condensing
To Ship the Print Engine
Save all packing materials in case you need to ship the print engine in the future.
To ship the print engine, do the following:
1. Turn off (O) the print engine, and disconnect all cables.
2. Remove any media, ribbon, or loose objects from the print engine interior.
3. Close the printhead.
4. Carefully pack the print engine into the original container or a suitable alternate container
to avoid damage during transit. A shipping container can be purchased from Zebra if the
original packaging has been lost or destroyed.
