Counterbalancing the monitor support arm
If the monitor will not remain in the desired position, the following carrier arm
components can be readjusted:
Increasing left/right mobility on the suspension arm
• Remove the plastic cover (1) on the suspension arm joint member.
• Loosen the securing screw (2) on the monitor carrier arm by turning it
counterclockwise with an M2.5 hex key.
• Tighten the suspension arm adjustment screw (3) by turning it clockwise
with an M5 hex key until the desired level of mobility is achieved.
• Retighten the securing screw (4) on the carrier arm by turning it clockwise
with an M2.5 hex key.
• Reattach the plastic cover (5).
Resetting the gas spring
• Align the suspension arm and the carrier arm horizontally.
• Tighten the gas spring adjustment screw (6) counterclockwise with an
M5 hex key until the suspension arm no longer moves downward with the
monitor attached.
If the suspension arm continues to move downward with the monitor
attached, the gas spring is defective.
• If this is the case, contact ZEISS Service.
Adjusting monitor mobility
• Tighten the fastening screw (7) on the monitor mount clockwise until the
monitor remains in the desired position.
