Guidelines and manufacturer's declaration concerning
electromagnetic compatibility
The device is subject to specific precautions with regard to electromagnetic
compatibility (EMC) in professional healthcare facility environments and
special hospital environments.
The device is not intended only for use in the vicinity of MRI equipment. If the
device is affected by nearby RFID equipment, it must not be operated at the
same time as this equipment.
In order to avoid the occurrence of EMC interference, the device may only
be installed, operated and maintained in the manner indicated in these
Instructions for Use and only with components supplied by ZEISS.
WARNING Functional deterioration!
Do not install or operate the S88 / OPMI Lumera T in direct proximity to other
devices (with the exception of the combination of the devices described in
these Instructions for Use) as this can impair the function of the S88 / OPMI
Lumera T.
• If it cannot be avoided that the S88 / OPMI Lumera T is operated in
proximity to other devices, the proper function of the S88 / OPMI Lumera
T must be monitored.
WARNING Functional deterioration!
Electrical devices can influence each other due to their electromagnetic
radiation. The use of non-approved components can cause increased
emissions or reduce the immunity of the S88 / OPMI Lumera T.
• Only use accessories, transformers, cables and spare parts which are
specified in these Instructions for Use or which are approved by ZEISS for
the S88 / OPMI Lumera T.
