ZXR105900/5200supportsStrictPriority(SP)andWeighted
RoundRobin(WRR)queueschedulingmodes.Eightoutput
queuesofaportcanadoptdifferentmodesrespectively.
�SPScheduling
SPistostrictlyscheduledataofeachqueueaccordingtoqueue
priority.Firstsendpacketsinthehighestpriorityqueueand
afterthat,sendpacketsinthehigherpriorityqueue.Similarly,
afterthat,sendpacketsinthelowerpriorityqueue,andsoon.
SPschedulingmakespacketsofkeyservicesprocessedprefer-
entially,thusguaranteeingservicequalityofkeyservices.But
thelowpriorityqueuemayneverbeprocessedand"starved”.

WRRmakeseachqueueinvestigatedpossiblyandnot
“starved”.Eachqueueisinvestigatedatdifferenttime,thatis,
hasdifferentweightindicatingtheratioofresourcesobtained
byeachqueue.Packetsinthehighpriorityqueuehavemore
opportunitiestobescheduledthanthelowpriorityqueue.
Datapriorityiscontainedinthe802.1Plabel.Ifdataenteringthe
portisnotmarkedwithan802.1Plabel,adefault802.1pvalue
willbeassignedbytheswitch.
RedirectionandPolicyRouting
Redirectingisusedtomakethedecisionagainabouttheforward-
ingofpacketswithcertainfeaturesaccordingtotrafcclassica-
tion.Redirectionchangestransmissiondirectionofpacketsand
exportmessagestothespecicport,CPUornext-hopIPaddress.
Redirectpacketstothenext-hopIPaddresstoimplementpolicy
routing.
Ontheaspectofpacketforwardingcontrol,policy-basedroutehas
morepowerfulcontrolcapacitythantraditionalroutebecauseit
canselectaforwardingpathaccordingtothematchedeldinthe
ACL.Policyroutingcanimplementtrafcengineeringtoacertain
extent,thusmakingtrafcofdifferentservicequalityordifferent
servicedata(suchasvoiceandFTP)togotodifferentpaths.The
userhashigherandhigherrequirementsfornetworkperformance,
thereforeitisnecessarytoselectdifferentpacketforwardingpaths
basedonthedifferencesofservicesorusercategories.
PriorityMarking
Prioritymarkingisusedtoreassignasetofserviceparameters
tospecictrafcdescribedintheACLtoperformthefollowing
operations:
