Caution!
If the specimen area is barely visible, it is possible that the software will
analyze that area as an empty one.
• Do not use extended focus on empty field-of-views – If selected, the
extended focus function will not run on the empty (not containing
specimen) field of views.
• Use stitching – By selecting this function, it enables seamless stitching of digitized
tiles.
Focus Exposure Time
This function is used for defining time length used for determination of focus but is inactive
when using AxioCam and pco.edge cameras.
Exposure Time
• Calculate exposure time for each area – Calculates exposure time that is specific to
each area, and that varies according to the different characteristics.
• Calculate exposure time for full slide – After analyzing the slide, the program uses
the same smallest exposition time for each area to omit over-exposition.
Note:
This option is used only if no exposure times were manually
predefined. It is recommended to use the second option – Calculate
exposure time for full slide.
