Occasionally,asignalwillappearonadjacentcablesorpipes.Comparetherelative
andactualcurrentreadings(valuethatisundertherelativecurrentvalueandinmA
units)overeachpathtohelpdeterminethetargetpath.Currentreadingswillbe
significantlylessontheadjacentcablecomparedtothetargetpath.
19. Astracingproceeds,rememberthatthemostpowerfulsignalisnearthetransmitter.
AsthereceivergetsfartherawayfromthetransmittertheSignal Strength[10]
decreases.Itmaybenecessarytoreadjustthegainasneededtoensurethatthereis
adequatesignalforthereceivertooperate.PresstheGain [4]upordown whenthe
Bar Graph[11]isnolongervisible(toolittlesignal)orwhentheBar Graph[11]is
closed(toomuchsignal).
