Selecting and adjusting the phone ringer
You can choose the tune (16 different tunes) and adjust the volume level (8 levels) of the cur-
rent ring tone. The calls of parties stored in the private directory of your phone are signalled
by a specific ring tone

. You can choose the melody and phone the volume of that ring tone.
* Depending on the programming performed by the system operator.
1 - Press the Tools key.
-> The display shows "
PROGRAMMING".
2 - Press successively the key until "
RING" is displayed.
3 - Press the
OK key.
-> The display shows the number of the currently chosen tune.
4 - Press successively the or keys to access the different
ring tone settings.
To select and set the current ring tone:
When the display shows
RING MELODY: xx
• Press successively the or keys to choose the current
tune.
Note*: By default, the calls of parties stored in the private
directory are signalled by tune no. 8. We therefore recommend
you to choose a different tune as the standard ring tone.
Each time you press a key, the corresponding tune is played, and
its number appears in the display.
• Press the key.
-> The display shows:
RING VOLUME: x.
• Successively press the or keys to adjust the volume
level of the current ring. The volume level can be adjusted over
8 levels, including ringer off.
Each time a key is pressed, the ring is played with the new
volume and the display indicates this level.
