A multi-line phone has several directory numbers
*
. Each directory number is stored on a
programmable key.
This function is mainly used to program on the same phone:
a standard number that you give to everyone.
a private number that you only give to some people; this can also be a backup number.
Example:
For a manager - unfiltered private number
- number filtered by his assistant
For an assistant - private number for his/her own calls
- number intended to receive the manager’s filtered calls.
Note: This function will be programmed by your system operator.
Programming the multi-line function
You can program the supervision function for each of the two directory numbers.
* Depending on the programming performed by the system operator.
1 - Press the Tools key.
-> The display shows "
PROGRAMMING".
2 - Press the
OK key.
-> The display shows:
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO PROGRAM?
3 - Press the interactive Key key.
-> The display prompts you to select the desired programmable
key.
4 - Press a programmable key.
Note: In order to identify a call arriving on that key, we recommend
to use one of the keys of the first page (#1) or of the extension
module, if you have one.
-> The indicator associated with that key lights up, and the display
shows the programming status of the key.
5 - Press the interactive Modify key.
6 - Press the interactive Superv. key.
-> The display shows:
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SUPERVISE?
