Adjusting the volume of the beeps heard when a key is pressed
Each time a key is pressed, a beep is emitted. The volume level of this beep can be ad-
justed over 8 levels; the lowest level corresponds to no beep.
Personalising the phone’s secret code
To access certain functions (unlocking the phone, login/logout function…) a secret code is
required. This code (different from the mail access code) is 0000 by default. You must per-
sonalise this code before use (for example, to lock the phone).
Phone in standby mode:
Press successively the or keys to reduce or increase
the volume level of the sound heard when a key is pressed.
-> After each key press, the new setting is played. The phone
stores the last setting.
1 - Press the interactive Funct. key.
-> The display shows "
CHOOSE A SERVICE".
2 - Press the interactive Feature key.
-> The display shows "
CHOOSE A FEATURE".
3 - Press the interactive Passwrd key.
-> The display shows the programming status of the code.
4 - Press the interactive Modify key.
-> The display prompts you to enter the current code.
5 - Enter the current code.
Note: If it has not been personalized, the code is 0000 by default.
In case of an error, press the interactive Erase key.
6 - Press the interactive Enter key.
In case of an error, press the interactive Modif key and start
again.
-> The display prompts you to enter a new secret code.
