Choosing the phone language
You can choose the language in which all messages will appear on the display.
Programming the connection of a headset
You phone is designed for use with a headset microphone. After connecting it, you can pro-
gram the connection of the headset microphone.
We advise you to consult your system administrator, who will optimise the installation of
the headset microphone for your specific needs.
Note: to be able to access the programming of the headset microphone (interactive
Connect.) key, your phone must be programmed in multi-key mode (see section on the
multi-key function).
Phone in standby
1 - Press the interactive Lang. key.
2 - Press the interactive key that corresponds to the desired
language (English for example).
-> All messages that appear on the display will be presented in
the same language.
1 - Press the Tools key.
-> The display shows "
PROGRAMMING".
2 - Press the
OK key.
-> The display shows
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO
PROGRAM?
3 - Press the interactive Connect. key.
-> The programmed mode (handset) appears in the display.
4 - Press the interactive Headset key.
-> The display suggests manual headset mode or automatic
headset mode.
Manual headset mode: to answer a call, you have to press the
key (or the green key ).
Automatic headset mode: when a party calls you, you can talk
directly on the headset microphone without any action on your
part.
