Communicating with the supervision function
8 - Press the interactive Other key to supervise another phone.
-> The display prompts you to enter the number of the phone that
you want to supervise.
9 - Dial the number of the phone, then press the interactive Enter
key.
-> The display prompts you to select the signal which the
supervised phone will output to you.
You have programmed the supervision function of a phone on a programmable key.
On your phone, the status of the indicator associated with the programmed key varies
according to the status of the supervised phone.
When the supervised phone is in standby, the indicator
associated with the key is off.
When the line of the supervised phone is busy, the indicator
associated with the key is on.
When a call arrives on the supervised phone, the indicator
associated to the programmed key flashes rapidly and if
programmed, your phone emits an audible signal.
To pick up a call:
The supervised phone is called and you want to pick up the call:
Press the programmed key then lift the handset to talk to the
party.
-> The indicator associated with the programmed key goes off.
To transfer an inbound call to the supervised phone:
You are in communication with a party and you want to transfer the
call to the supervised phone:
Press the programmed key and then the interactive Transf. key.
-> The indicator associated to the programmed key lights up.
To call the supervised phone:
You want to call the designated user of the supervised phone:
Press the programmed key.
-> The indicator associated to the programmed key lights up.
