Duplex mode is a special of announcement whereby the called system terminal B
immediately transform A’s announcement into an internal call.

In duplex mode the connection setup is the same as for an ordinary announcement
made to a user.

B The announcement is signalled by a warning
tone (3 short signal tones). The call connection
is then switched through (loudspeaker and
microphone active).
