8. 11 Connection of third-party equipments
Some third-party equipment is particularly well integrated in Ascotel® IntelliGate®,
which means the features are user-friendly to operate.
8. 11. 1 Ascotel® Mobility Interface (AMI)
For the implementation of very large DECT systems Ascotel® IntelliGate® 2065 can
be connected to the DECT radio system DCT 1800

. The Ascotel® Mobility Interface
(AMI) is available for this purpose. It provides the interface between the radio sys-
tem and the public ISDN network or an up-circuit PBX.

Together with the DCT 1800 radio system up to 400 DCT users (or even up to 600 in
an AIN) can be operated on a PBX. A wide range of 9d generation terminals is avail-
able from the Ascom Wireless Solutions product portfolio.
