10.2 Cleaning Spills
Observe universal precautions

when cleaning spills on the analyzer. Use a 10% bleach solution
(1 part bleach plus 9 parts water) to clean spills, following the standard cleaning guidelines in
Section 10.1.
10.3 Cleaning the Air Filter
Clean the air filter in the back of the analyzer at least monthly, or as needed to ensure proper ven-
tilation and temperature control of the instrument. Check the filter frequently if the analyzer is in
an environment with excessive dust or animal hair.
The procedure to use for changing the air filter depends on whether your analyzer’s filter has a
cover. Refer to the diagram below, then to the appropriate procedure on the following pages.
