d. Select Xmit, and make sure Print is not selected.
e. Press Results.
The display shows “Sending Report...” while the results
are transmitting.
20. Check the HyperTerminal window
to confirm that the results were
transmitted.
If the results do not appear to have
transmitted, contact Abaxis Techni-
cal Service 24 hours a day, 7 days
week, at 1-800-822-2947.
21. Close HyperTerminal. Press Ye s to close the connection, then No to discard the connection
settings.
11.4 Installing the Windows Vista Driver
Use this procedure to install the Abaxis driver that enables the analyzer to communicate with a PC
running Windows Vista. The analyzer installs on the PC as a virtual communication port in Win-
dows.
Installation requires the following:
■ VetScan VS2 Analyzer
■ PC with Windows Vista and a USB port
■ Type A/Type B USB cable
■ Abaxis Driver CD
