11-8 Connecting to an External Computer
Note: Driver installation in Windows Vista requires a user account with
administrative privileges.
The screenshots in these instructions are from a typical Vista installa-
tion. Some of these screens may vary slightly on your system.
Install the driver as follows.
1. Insert the Abaxis Driver CD (software files: P/N 110-5001) into the computer’s CD drive.
2. The computer’s default web browser then opens, displaying the VS2 driver installation
guide links. Close the browser.
3. Go to Start > My Computer to
display the computer’s drives.
4. Right-click the CD drive icon,
and select Explore from the pop-
up menu.
5. Open the Win2K_XP folder.
