Set Up and Analyzer
Description
3.1 Unpacking the Analyzer
1. Remove the VetScan VS2 Chemistry Analyzer from the shipping
carton. Place the analyzer on a level surface relatively free of ani-
mal hair, dust, and other contaminants. Do not place in a sunny
window or near another heat source. See the required environ-
mental specifications on page 3-5.
2. Check the components received with the VS2 against the list and
figure below to make sure everything required to set up the ana-
lyzer is included.
■ VetScan VS2 Chemistry Analyzer
■ Power adapter with cord
■ Power cord
■ USB cable
■ Abaxis Driver CD
■ VetScan VS2 operator’s manual, quick reference guide,
warranty card, and start-up packet (not shown)
3. Complete the warranty card and mail it to Abaxis within 10 days
of installation to start the warranty period. Customers are placed
on the customer mailing list to receive any information pertain-
ing to the VS2 and ancillary products, such as software upgrades.
