Replacing the auxiliary control cubicle fan (frames 2×R8i+2×R8i and up)
WARNING! Follow the instructions in chapter Safety instructions. Ignoring the
instructions can cause physical injury or death, or damage to the equipment.
1. Disconnect the drive from the power line.
2. Open the auxiliary control cubicle door.
3. Loosen the two screws that fasten the fan mounting plate.
4. Disconnect the fan power cable.
5. Pull out the fan together with its mounting plate.
6. Undo the four screws that fasten the fan to its mounting plate.
7. Install new fan in reverse order.
