Type designation labels
Drive label
The type designation label of the drive includes an IEC rating, CE, C-UL US, and
CSA markings, a type designation and a serial number, which allow individual
recognition of each unit. The first digit of the serial number refers to the
manufacturing plant. The next four digits refer to the unit’s manufacturing year and
week respectively. The remaining digits complete the serial number so that there are
no two units with the same serial number. The type designation label is located on
the front cover. An example label is shown below.
Supply, inverter and brake module label
The type designation label of the converter module includes the ratings, valid
markings, a type code and a serial number. The module label is attached to the front
panel of the module.
