Replacing the fan in the incoming cubicle (frames 2×R8i+2×R8i and up)
WARNING! Follow the instructions in chapter Safety instructions. Ignoring the
instructions can cause physical injury or death, or damage to the equipment.
1. Disconnect the drive from the power line.
2. Open the door and remove the shroud to gain access to the fan.
3. Remove the four mounting screws (and the four nuts in 1000 mm cubicle) of the
fan.
4. Disconnect the power supply cable of the fan and pull the fan out of the cubicle.
5. Remove the four screws (and the four nuts in 1000 mm cubicle) that fasten the
fan and the fan grille.
6. Install a new fan in reverse order.
