6146/6156 DC Voltage/Current Generators Operation Manual
3.2.5 MENU Key (Parameter Setting)
3-3
SOURC Sets source-related common elements.
SENSE Selects the output sensing 4-wire or 2-wire connection.
4w: Sets output sensing to 4-wire connection. 4w is displayed
on the screen.
2w : Sets output sensing to 2-wire connection. 2w is displayed
on the screen.
LMT.HL Selects the HI and LO limit value setting.
OFF: Sets the HI and LO values synchronously.
ON: Sets the HI and LO values separately.
AUTO Sets the source auto range.
OFF: Always sets the source value in the currently selected range.
ON: Sets the source value in the optimum range.
POL Selects the polarity setting mode.
UN.POL: Sets the polarity setting mode to unipolar.
BI.POL: Sets the polarity setting mode to bipolar.
SUS.Z Sets the output impedance in Suspend.
HiZ: The output current limit is restricted to ±5 mA (VS: 3 V,
30 V), so the output impedance increases.
LoZ: The output current limiter is set to the current limit value
in voltage source and to zero output in current source, so
the output impedance decreases.
CO.FIX Sets the count fix function at the range change.
OFF: Synchronizes the source value before and after the range
change.
e.g. Range UP
1.0000V ⇒ UP ⇒ 01.000V
e.g. Range DOWN
01.000V ⇒ DOWN ⇒ 1.0000V
ON: Synchronizes the count value before and after the range
change.
e.g. Range UP
1.0000V ⇒ UP ⇒ 10.000V
e.g. Range DOWN
01.000V ⇒ DOWN ⇒ 0.1000V
SBY.MD Selects the Standby mode.
0: Mode 0 (normal mode)
1: Mode 1
For more information on this function, refer to Section 4.2.5.6,
"Standby Mode."
