Rear Shock Removal
1. Elevate rear end of the ATV off the ground to remove shock
spring tension.
Severe injury could occur if machine tips or falls.
2. Remove the upper shock mounting bolt from the frame and
the lower shock mounting bolt from the swing arm.
3. Replace the shock, spring or adjuster cam as required
4. Install the shock as shown in Figure 5.9.
5. Torque shock mounting bolts to specification.
Front Shock Mounting Bolt Torque:
36 Nm (49 ft. lbs.)
