FUEL SYSTEM
Carburetor Removal - General
The following procedure is provided to use as a reference
when removing the carburetor from vehicle. Some steps may
differ slightly between models.
1. Turn the fuel valve “OFF” and drain the fuel from the carb
through the drain screw (A).
2. Loosen or remove screw (B).
3. Loosen the intake boot clamp (C) between the carburetor
and air cleaner.
4. Loosen fuel tube clamp (D) then remove fuel tube.
5. Loosen oil tube clamp then remove oil tube.
6. Disconnect the choke cable end from the choke lever.
7. Disconnect the throttle cable end from the throttle lever.
8. Remove carburetor from ATV.
Carburetor Disassembly
Use the following procedure to disassemble the carburetor.
1. Remove the (4) float bowl screws and float bowl.
2. Remove the float pin (G) , float (H) , and inlet needle (I).
3. Remove the screw of the inlet seat and remove
the retaining bracket and seat from the carburetor.
