In this section you can also allocate the GPO physical outputs associated with Control “OFF
AIR” green light (indicates that there are no sources, typically microphones, activated in the
control room) and “ON AIR” red light (indicates that there are no sources, typically microphones,
activated in the control room). You can choose between the opto-coupled GPO´s (1 to 8) or the
contact relay GPO´s (9 to 12): these last ones are recommended. See section 2.2.2.1 of this
manual.
4.2.5. NTP Client Configuration submenu.
“NTP Client Configuration” submenu is accessed, from the drop-down menu “Hardware
Configuration”, by clicking on the icon:
“NTP Client Configuration” submenu allows you to enable synchronization of the date and time
of the system using standard Ethernet NTP protocol, with the local AEQ FORUM clock slaved to
the remote (NTP) signal.
The on-screen options are:
Active: allows you to activate or not this option.
NTP/SNTP Server (IP): IP address of the server with the remote master clock.
Update Every (min): refresh period, the frequency with which AEQ FORUM will
contact the remote NTP time server to confirm that there are no deviations. The default
value is set to 10 minutes.
Time Zone Offset: allows you to compensate for the difference in time zone(s)
between the location of the console and the time zone where the remote NTP clock is
located.
