• Install a leakage protection device inside the unit which must
comply with electrical engineering norms and standards.
Incorrect uninstallation or installation would lead to electric
shock. Perform an electrical leakage test after completing the
electrical connections.
• Make sure all connectors are properly secured before powering
up the unit. Failure to do so may result in fire caused by
overheating.
• Do not leave any cables in contact with the refrigerant pipe,
the compressor or moving parts such as fans.
ATTENTION
• All electrical operations must be carried out by
personnel in possession of the necessary legal
requirements, trained and informed on the risks
associated with such operations.
• The characteristics of the power lines and related
components must be determined by personnel
authorized to design electrical systems, complying
with the international and national standards of the
place of installation of the unit that comply with the
laws in force at the time of installation.
• For installation requirements, refer to the wiring
diagram supplied with the appliance. The wiring
diagram together with the manuals must be kept
carefully and made available for future work on the
unit.
• It is compulsory to check the watertight integrity of
the machine before making the electrical connections
and it must only be powered when the plumbing and
electrical work has been completed.
• If the power supply cable is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer or its technical
assistance service or in any case by a person with
similar qualifications, in order to prevent any risk.
• Before working on the electrical circuit, make sure that the
power supply to the unit has been disconnected.
• After disconnecting the voltage from the unit, wait at
least 15 minutes before accessing and intervening on the
electrical circuit to avoid the risk of electrocution in the
presence of capacitors.
• In the event of faults in the electrical circuit, do not power the
unit until the malfunction has been resolved. If the fault cannot
be remedied immediately be sure to take adequate measures
to prevent damage to the unit during operation.
• All electrical operations must be carried out by personnel in
possession of the necessary legal requirements, trained and
informed on the risks associated with such operations.
• Do not start or stop the unit directly from the power switch, as
it may cause electric shock or fire hazard.
• All safety devices must be kept in working order and
periodically checked as prescribed by the regulations in force.
• All components should only be replaced with parts specified
and approved by the manufacturer to avoid damage to the
unit.
