MALFUNCTION CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM
Blockage caused by the
compressor high pressure
protection
1. Incomplete aspiration.
2. Ambient temperature too high.
3. The condenser fins are dirty and there are
obstructions.
4. Inadequate condensation air flow and failed
condenser fan.
5. High pressure shutdown failed.
6. Overcharged refrigerant.
1. Aspirate the system again and recharge the
refrigerant.
2. Improve ventilation.
3. Clean the condenser fins.
4. Repair the condenser fan.
5. Check the high pressure switch.
6. Check the refrigerant charge and drain some
refrigerant.
Blockage caused by
overload of the compressor
motor
1. The voltage is too high or too low.
2. The discharge pressure is too high or too low.
3. The return water temperature is too high.
4. The overloaded element is defective.
5. The ambient temperature is too high.
6. There is a phase loss for the compressor.
7. The compressor motor is short-circuited.
1. Check if the voltage is or not less than 80%
and the phase difference does not exceed ±
30%.
2. Check the discharge pressure and identify the
causes.
3. Check the return water temperature and
identify the causes.
4. Check the compressor current.
5. Improve ventilation.
6. Check the three phase resistances.
Stop for compressor low
pressure protection
1. The electrostatic expansion valve is defective.
2. The low pressure cut-off is defective.
3. The refrigerant is insufficient.
4. Entering chilled water temperature is 5 ° C
lower than nominal.
5. The chilled water flow is too low.
1. Replace the coils or even the valve body.
2. Check the low pressure cut.
3. Check and charge the refrigerant.
4. Check if the chilled water is low temperature.
5. Adjust the flow of chilled water.
Failure to start the
compressor
1. The overcurrent relay has tripped and the fuse
has blown.
2. The control circuit was open.

Pressure transducer error
1. The pressure sensor is open circuit.
2. The pressure sensor is short-circuited.

Flow switch protection
1. The water pump did not start.
2. The water flow is too low.
3. The water flow switch is damaged.
4. There was air inside the water system.
1. Start the water pump.
2. Adjust the water flow.

4. Dissipate the air inside the water system.
4-way valve faulty
1. The entering and leaving water temperature
sensor has been dropped or not installed
correctly.
2. The 4-way valve has been damaged.
