Starting up the unit after a long period of inactivity
Before turning on a unit that has not worked for a long period of
time it is necessary to:
Check that each component of the unit is in excellent condition
and carry out cleaning operations as indicated in this manual.
Clean the hydraulic circuit following the instructions in this
manual.
Check that the water pump is working and in good condition.
Tighten any connectors that have, if any, come loose.
Perform a leak test of the refrigerant piping. If a leak occurs,
eliminate it.
Adjust the water flow through the balancing valve and then
check the water pressure.
Check that the fan blades rotate correctly.
Check that the vibrations and noise of the unit are normal.
Daily maintenance
Check the water circulation pump and the flow rate.
Check voltage and power supply.
Weekly maintenance
Inspect the unit and its main components, such as: if the run
-
ning compressor produces an abnormal noise, if the electrical
box is firmly fixed, if the piping system generates abnormal vi
-
brations or leaks, etc ....
Write down the main parameters of the unit in operation, such
as: water pressure, temperatures, etc ....
Quarterly maintenance
Check for correct grounding and make sure that the entire
electrical circuit of the unit is well insulated.
Check and if necessary adjust the temperature setpoint.
Annual maintenance
Check the safety valves of the system and the pipes of the
hydraulic circuit. If necessary, clean the filter and analyze the
water quality. If you need to clean the hydraulic circuit, follow
the instructions given in this manual and contact a specialized
technician.
Check for rust in the unit's carpentry due to peeling paint and
repaint. Check if the door of the electrical panel is closed prop
-
erly.
Check that all pipes, water pump and fittings are securely fas
-
tened. Also check that the refrigerant charge is sufficient, if not,
top up until the charge required by the unit is reached.
Perform the steps listed in the "weekly maintenance" para
-
graph.
Verify that the control device is set up and functioning cor
-
rectly.
Check that the refrigerant piping is securely fastened.
